Mennonite schools succeeding in province

By it was back in 1989 that Mennonites opened their first private school in what was then Kent County. The Dresden Private Mennonite School operated out of a former Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Dresden. In 2012, members of that school community purchased the former St. Michael’s Roman School School at nearby Turnerville, which had been closed by the St. Clair District Catholic School Board because of declining enrolment.
