Religious ‘fanatic’ in court charged with attempted murder over alleged throat slashing

Joshua Benjamin Guy, 31, unemployed from Bardon, claims he is not a risk to the public and has told the Supreme Court in Brisbane that he will go to “anger management group” in Teneriffe if released.

Guy is alleged to have sliced Toowong man Benjamin Jessop’s throat on May 27, 2014 after quizzing the Jehovah’s Witness about whether the bible says that Satan will “burn in hell”.
